Output pixels = PDF page size × DPI ÷ 72. When JPEG density metadata is not written, DPI is an equivalent sampling resolution.

How many pages can it handle?
Up to 100 selected pages per run, subject to an 800 million total-pixel safety limit. Use a strict range such as 1-5,8,12- to work in batches.
What resolution should I pick?
72 DPI is suitable for screen previews, 150 DPI for slides and documents, and 300 DPI for print. If JPEG density metadata is absent, the selected DPI describes the equivalent sampling resolution.
