Is my screenshot uploaded?
No. The framing, background and shadow are drawn entirely in your browser with the Canvas API — the screenshot never leaves your device.
Can I skip the background entirely?
Yes — pick the checkerboard "None" chip. You get just the rounded corners, shadow and optional window bar on a transparent canvas (export as PNG or WebP to keep the transparency). Great for dropping onto slides and pages that have their own background.
What does 2× export do?
It creates a larger bitmap; it does not turn screenshot text into vectors. The tool automatically lowers the scale when a large source would exceed a safe browser canvas budget.
What does the window chrome option do?
It draws a subtle macOS-style title bar with three traffic-light dots above your screenshot, so it reads as an app window instead of a bare rectangle.
